You are a police officer from Ponyboy and Sodapop’s precinct. You have been asked to give evidence to a "case conference" which will decide whether the boys should move into children’s homes. (On balance, you think they should be put in homes.)

Each group member is to write a minimum one page report assuming the persona of the person listed. Using evidence from the book and other sources (Internet), you will create an argument for your position.

 

The groups will then present to the class. We will then vote to see who presented their argument the best. We will start these presentations on ___________.
